On the afternoon of Saturday September 18th, 2021, Olivia and her friends decided to go to a sports bar to watch some of the first college football games of the year. Shortly after they arrived, one of her friends noticed a guy and quickly came back to Olivia. "Olivia, that guy at the bar looks like your type. You should go talk to him!" Olivia glanced over and did a double take. She had never talked to this guy, but she knew she recognized him somehow. About a month prior her mom had convinced her to join Hinge, a dating app, even though she was hesitant and wanted to meet "the one" in a traditional way. She opened up her phone and took a quick look at her matches. Turns out, Mark was Olivia's most recent match on this dating app, but neither one had sent a message or initiated conversation. Olivia wanted to approach Mark, but Mark seemed to be talking a good bit with his friends, and she wasn't sure if he was with one of the girls in the group. It wasn't long until Mark walked out with his friends. Olivia, the sales girl she is, decided to still shoot her shot and send Mark a message over Hinge right after he left. As soon as Mark got that message, he told Olivia to follow him down the road to another restaurant and that's where they met for the first time. Since that message at 6:07 PM they have been inseparable and Olivia's shot in the dark is what started it all. Some things are just truly meant to happen at the right place and at the right time. I never really knew this for certain, until we met.

Mark was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. He stayed there his whole life, including, Elementary School, High School, college at Texas Christian University, and even the beginning of his career. Mark got the opportunity to move to Dallas and further his career in Real Estate which seemed like a fun new adventure. On November of 2019, Mark had officially become a Dallas resident.

Olivia was born and raised in a small town in southern Illinois called, Robinson. After graduating high school, she attended Indiana University, go Hoosiers! Upon graduating, this was her time to escape the cold of the Midwest and finally move down south to Dallas, TX. She started her sales job in IT staffing on February 2020, and from that day on Dallas had become her forever home.

Life Today:

Mark and Olivia own their first house together near White Rock Lake in East Dallas. They are the proud parents of two fur babies, Milo and Nova. Milo is a five-year-old little Yorkie that Mark inherited through his relationship with Olivia. A year and a half ago, they decided one dog wasn't enough and adopted Nova, a Red Golden Retriever puppy. Looking back these three years, they could never have imagined the life they have built together.
